I LIKE THAT YOUR RIDING IN STYLE LAIRD, IMAGINE JETS SKIS AND WAVE TOOLS IN THAT CABIN READY TO GO ON IMPULSE. THAT IS THE DREAM NO ONE IS LIVING. YOU HAVE TO FORGET ABOUT THAT OIL PROBLEM OVER THERE. ITS LIKE SEEING SOMEONE YOU TRULY LOVE WHO IS DIEING FROM UNTREATABLE CANCER. THERE’S IS NOTHING WE CAN DO AND IF YOU COULD DO SOMETHING IT SHALL REQUIRE THE HAND OF GOD TO CLEAN UP THAT MESS. BY THE END OF AUGUST THE ENTIRE PANHANDLE WILL BE DEVASTATED AND EVERYTHING BELOW THE SURFACE. I CRY.

Hey Gabby and Laird, good to see you in the Gulf.

Seems to me that BP’s solution to stopping the spill only involves siphoning profits .. In my opinion they should concentrate less on formulating a method focused on siphoning, and more on simply stopping the flow. How about a big concrete block placed over top to stop the leak! Surely Engineers can calculate the necessary size/weight needed to withstand the pressure…

I’m writing from Victoria (a coastal city in Canada) and we feel the anguish of the local people and creatures effected by this tragedy. The Navy Engineers can solve this problem in a timely fashion and I personally feel that the government are getting the wool pulled over their eyes by BP. I hope the right decisions are made, especially considering it’s long term/short term environmental impact.

    Cheers
