Trailer for All Aboard the Crazy Train

Known for their big wave film making in Step Into Liquid and Riding Giants, BamMan Productions captures tow-in pioneers Laird Hamilton, Dave Kalama, Darrick Doerner, and others in never before seen footage as they ride the best big waves on the planet at Peahi, Maui during the historic winters of 2004 and 2005.

All Aboard the crazy train wins awards:
Laird Hamilton was at the International Surf Film of Saint Jean de Luz to promote BamMan’s and his latest film All Aboard the Crazy Train, a hymn to big wave surfing at Jaws but also an analysis of the consequences of the sport today. The movie won two awards : “best cinematography” and “most inspirational youth film”.

I have never surfed in my life but ever since seeing a TV programme here in the UK featuring Laird, Double D, Dave Kalama and Brett Lickle I am just in awe of big wave riding. All Aboard The Crazy Train was a Christmas present and one of the best I have had in recent years. Jaw dropping, heart stopping, eyes on stalks viewing!!! Incredible. Still have never surfed by the way!!! Watching you push the envelope (being the same age as me) keeps me motivated to do my sports and achieve my personal goals. Maybe one day I will get to Hawaii and get to meet you. Still yet to get on a surfboard by the way!!!
